Darkness descends upon me
I turn a corner, but there's nothing to see
On my knees, caught in tangles of thorns
I gasp for breath as my body's worn

A ray of light reveals my plight
The wailing beast breaks the silence of night
I try to run through the darkness and haze
But I am lost in the heart of this maze

Softly singing in strange rhymes

As the vision slipped away

I am trapped behind a dark, foreboding door

And I knew that I had found my Ally

Sitting in a tree house, your old telescope points to the sky
Where will this friendship lead?  A sanctuary between you and I
I found my partner for future crimes of mischief we'd invent
Rebellious days of our youth were now gloriously misspent
